A Class Waitlist Is Not a Workout Plan

Know what the booking actually means

You put your name on a class waitlist and mentally count the session as booked. Then the day arrives with no confirmed place. Check how the studio handles openings: whether you need to accept a spot, when notifications stop, and which cancellation rules apply. Read the current policy instead of assuming it works like the last gym you joined.

Choose a backup before the alert arrives

Decide what you will do if a place does not open. That might be another suitable session from your existing plan or a different day. Keep the backup simple enough that it does not require an urgent search through dozens of workouts. Avoid booking several classes you cannot attend just to feel covered. Other people are planning around those same spaces.

Pack after the plan is real

When your place is confirmed, check the arrival time and required equipment. Keep personal-care products, including Cannabolix if you use it, with your own belongings and follow their directions. They do not need to determine whether you attend a class. The useful habit is separating interest from confirmation: a waitlist records what you hope to do, while your calendar should show what you can actually count on. Give the backup its own place so a missed notification does not decide your whole day.
